1981-1986

President of Worley Commodities, Inc., a guaranteed Introducing Broker based in Houston, Texas. During part of this period, Worley Commodities had branch offices in New Orleans, Oklahoma City, and Lubbock.

 
 
1974-1981 Vice President and registered commodity broker for ContiCommodity Services, Inc. In three of these years, membership was achieved in the firm’s Customer Yacht Club, an award given to account executives each year based primarily on customer trading profits.

During this period, an account executive in Conti Lubbock, Texas office. Joined them with no accounts and by the second year was the fifth largest producer of Conti’s two hundred fifty brokers worldwide.

Branch Manager of Conti San Diego, California from July 1976 to July 1977. When arrived in office, it was operating in the red and was on Conti’s list of offices to close. Within one year, it was in the black and Conti San Diego had its best year ever.

Branch Manager of Conti New Orleans, Louisiana from June 1979 to July 1980. This office was operating unprofitably prior to arrival. In nine months remaining in that fiscal year, it was brought to a net profit of just under 20%, and also became a Group One office, one of Conti’s elite top group.

From July 1980 to September 1981, Vice President and account executive in Conti Houston, Texas. Top producer for the office. A member of the Conti Trading Action Board, a group making trade recommendations to the firm.
